¾ Spelt Flour – white or wholemeal (can be substituted for coconut flour)
1 tsp ground cinnamon
2 tsp baking powder
¾ cup nut milk
1 egg (if vegan substitute the egg with 1 tsp Fermentanicals Sprouted Flax added to ¼ cup water, allow to stand for 10 minutes before adding to the recipe)
¼ cup pure maple syrup
¾ cup or 2 large mashed bananas
Combine buckwheat flour, spelt flour, baking powder and cinnamon in a large bowl. Add the mashed banana, maple syrup, nut milk and egg whisk till smoothie, stand for 5 minutes
Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat, use a small amount of coconut oil to grease the pan if required. Add 1/3 cup of the mixture to the heated pan and cook for approximately 3 minutes or until golden each side
Serve warm with your favourite toppings and Enjoy!!
